The shoulders have horizontal lines which give depth and texture to the top shoulder areas of the ring. The red spinel is synthetic (man made). Marked inside the shank: 14K (and tested 14K). The whole white gold frame setting of the ring is approximately 7mm girdle length x 13mm girdle width. The shank measures approximately 4mm at the bottom or back and gradually increases to 7mm where the shoulders meet the top. When worn, the ring sits approximately 3/16 above the finger. The round faceted red spinel is approximately 5.5mm diameter x 2.5mm depth, which translates to approximately 0.5 Carat Spinel. Good Vintage Condition: As to be expected with vintage jewelry, there are scratches in the gold metal commensurate with age and wear.
