Classic Vintage Mens 14k Gold. 80 Ct European Diamond Solitaire Ring Sz 10.25. 80 carat diamond solitaire ring. This style of ring is timeless–it can be passed down from generation to generation. The ring is primarily yellow gold, with the diamond set in a recessed white gold head, in four corner prongs. The head is an “illusion style” with a bit more gold surrounding the diamond, which makes it look slightly larger than it actually is. The white gold showcases the diamond’s brilliance, as well. The diamond is an old European cut with a high table and open culet. It measures 5.68 x 3.93 mm deep, which calculates to approximately. 80 ct, measured while in the setting (but it looks bigger because of the style of mounting). THIS IS A GORGEOUS DIAMOND! It is graded as H color and VS2 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler. You’d be hard-pressed to find an inclusion even with a loupe. It is an eye-clean diamond with a ton of fire, which faces up beautifully! The face of this ring measures 3/8″ at the face, and tapers to 3/16″ at the inside of the finger. It is hallmarked 14KT, with the crisp, clear hallmark evidencing little wear to the ring. It is a size 10.25 and weighs a hefty 6 grams. This ring is in excellent vintage condition, other than a few superficial scratches to the gold (which could be polished off) commensurate with normal wear.
