Modern 14k Gold Mens Onyx Bezel Set. 17Ct Diamond Ring Sz 10.25 Clean Lines 6.4g. Offered today is a HANDSOME contemporary, modern solid 14k yellow gold mens onyx ring. Most often, I’m given “vintage” men’s onyx rings by my consignors to sell, but this one is unique and will suit the guy who wants to wear a cutting edge ring. The two unique features are that the corners of the onyx have a rough texture, as well as the size and bezel setting of the diamond in the center of the ring. The 11.7 mm square onyx is mounted in the traditional gold bezel. When light hits the onyx, you can see that the cornes are “rough” while the inner portion of the stone is polished. The shoulders of the mounting have a light Florentine (brushed) finish, and the inner portion of the shank is polished, in keeping with the general theme of the ring! The diamond is GORGEOUS. It measures about 3.6 mm. 17 ct and is not one of the typical diamond chips in men’s rings. It is graded as G color and SI1 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler. It is a super bright and fiery diamond and reflects brilliantly against the dark black onyx. This ring has a great presence on the hand! The face measures 1/2 all the way around. It is hallmarked 14k and tests positive for 14k gold. It weighs 6.4 grams and is a size 10.25. It can sized by any competent jeweler, and is in excellent pre-owned condition.
