Antique / vintage moonstone and 925. Features an open back bezel set oval moonstone cabochon with an very even in tone with an overall clear light gray cast. European Russian style cut outs / openwork on both sides. Definite early 1900’s art nouveau or arts and crafts feel. Metaphysically speaking, moonstone is known as the stone of “New Beginnings” and believed to have healing powers that promote. Inner growth and strength, sooth emotional instability and stress, stabilize emotions / provide calmness, enhance intuition, encourage inspiration, and bring success and good fortune. Very thick heavy substantial, especially the band in the back. Finely crafted to last an infinite amount of time in the right hands. I would guess it was originally meant to be more so man’s or men’s. Style and design – but anyone who loves it sure could wear this treasure. Ready and waiting for you to gift or add to your finger or collection – you will love it! Measurements : Face is 5/8 tall x 1/2 wide in front, band tapers to 5 mm in the back. Vintage Moonstone and Diamond Three Stone Mens Ring In 14k Yellow Gold Size 9. Condition is pre owned. The ring weighs 11.7 grams and measures approx half an inch vertically on the finger. It features an oval shaped moonstone that measures approx 9.25 x 4.75 and approx 5mm in height flanked by 2 round cut diamonds each measuring approx 2.5mm for a total diamond carat weight of approx 0.12cts. Some notable scratch marks on the moonstone as moonstone is not a particularly tough gemstone. Rated about a 6 on the mohs scale. A great mens ring! A future family heirloom waiting for its new home! The ring is in very fine condition. The moonstone is rather large, 14.3 mm or approximately 4.50 carats. I just love how the Lions are holding the moonstone. The Rubies measure approximately 3.4 mm each. The ring is a size 8 1/2 and the weight is approximately 11 grams.
