This vintage men’s ring is a size 10 1/2 and weighs 4.9g. The center stone is an oval garnet and on the sides there are 2 diamond chips for a total of 4. The sides taper to the back of the ring and have a satin texture finish. I don’t know what the carat weight is on any of the stones but just taking a guess, the garnet looks like it’s about a carat. The 4 diamonds are probably only chips or old mine cut. I took them to my local jeweler but it would be silly to get it appraised because then I’d have to start with a higher price. The jeweler said that the stone is genuine and I have a diamond detector that tests the sides stones as genuine. All the stones are prong set. On the inside of the band you will see the 10k stamp and a hallmark to the left – I don’t recognize the maker.
