Vintage Art Deco Era Men’s 10k Yellow Gold Ring featuring a four-prong set Oval Faceted Natural Ruby gemstone, with 3-prong set round faceted diamonds set in recessed white gold triangles on either side of the ruby. The shoulders are textured brushed yellow gold while the edges are stepped and polished yellow gold. The ruby may have been heat treated, the jeweler did not know. Marked inside the shank: 10k – and the hallmark picture shown in the last picture. Weight: 2.9 grams. Size: 9.5 This ring could be sized by your jeweler. Measurements: The natural ruby gemstone is approximately 1.2 Carats calculated value, measuring approximately 8mm x 6mm x 3mm. There are 2 round faceted diamonds of 0.01 Carat value on each side. The shank measures approximately 4mm at the bottom and gradually increases to 10.5mm at the top girdle length. The top area of the ring between the bottom points of the triangles measures approximately 18mm width. When worn, the ring sits approximately 3/16 above the finger. Good-Fair Vintage Condition: There are scratches in the gold metal commensurate with age and wear. There are also dents in the gold metal; the next to the last picture shows the main dent in the border edge of the ring (upper left of the ruby in the picture).
