Vintage circa 1965 (Case and caliber 214 movement are both marked with date code “M5″) original chapter ring Accutron Spaceview. 10k gold filled case and stainless steel case back. Luminous hands and chapter ring. Note the strong stencil indicating this is a case reference “2531” watch. The movement was serviced in January of 2021 by a watchmaker who specializes in Accutrons. Been phased to run on modern 1.5v batteries (Energizer 387S). It’s running well and keeping time to about 1 second a day. All gaskets were checked and greased and/or replaced. 34.8 mm x 38.7 mm case. See pictures for condition. This is a vintage watch with signs of use. For example- some of the plating has worn off the extreme edges of the lower lugs – this is visible in the 5th and 6th pictures. It doesn’t stand out at first glance, and doesn’t detract from the overall appearance of the watch. Ready to wear and use – with your band. 17.5 mm lugs.
