Bob Wortman from Sidney, Ohio was one of the only dual sport officials in the 1960’s and 1970’s to ever officiate both basketball and football games including championship games. This ring was made by Balfour and is solid 10k yellow gold with 6 large diamonds and 20+ smaller diamonds. Men’s size 12 weighs 42.1 grams and is from the January 16th 1972 Super Bowl Game in which the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys played The Cowboys defeated the Dolphins 24-3 in their first Super Bowl win. I had the ring appraised by two different jewelers in 2016 and it was verified to be authentic. This is truly a piece of NFL history and would be a great addition to sports collections including Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys fans and collectors.
