Antique / vintage moonstone and 925. Features an open back bezel set oval moonstone cabochon with an very even in tone with an overall clear light gray cast. European Russian style cut outs / openwork on both sides. Definite early 1900’s art nouveau or arts and crafts feel. Metaphysically speaking, moonstone is known as the stone of “New Beginnings” and believed to have healing powers that promote. Inner growth and strength, sooth emotional instability and stress, stabilize emotions / provide calmness, enhance intuition, encourage inspiration, and bring success and good fortune. Very thick heavy substantial, especially the band in the back. Finely crafted to last an infinite amount of time in the right hands. I would guess it was originally meant to be more so man’s or men’s. Style and design – but anyone who loves it sure could wear this treasure.
