We took our top gold rings that were featured in our Beverly Hills store and recreated them in solid sterling silver. This ring features a 3 ct bevel set stone (10 x 8 mm), six. 25 ct square cuts and. 5 ct of finely set pave. The ring total carat weight is 5 ct. The mounting is our original design, extremely well finished and extremely well set. Setting is solid sterling silver with a rhodium finish to prevent tarnishing. We have several other sizes listed in my other auctions. The ring looks much better than the picture. Better than today’s CZ’s, better than Moissanite. Our Secret Jewelers stones were made over 25 years ago with much higher standards than today’s diamond imitations. Each stone is equivalent to an G color diamond and are internally flawless. Their brilliance and fire is a testimony to their craftsmanship and longevity. They will last hundreds of years without discoloration. These stones are better than Moissanite, which is a generic material. Their refractive index is much higher than a diamond, cast a yellow tone, looks fake and can be very expensive. Today’s CZ’s are made overseas with poor manufacturing processes and the cheapest ingredients. Inferior CZ’s will not fool anyone and eventually will discolor or fog. Before CZ’s were mass-produced, the Reichenberg’s created laboratory gems from superior formulas. Our creations were worn by connoisseurs of fine jewelry, celebrities and socialites. Our gems work has been recognized and published in the Gemological Institute of America’s (GIA) journal (Spring 1990) as an example of the world’s finest faux gems. Stories in the Wall Street Journal(June 1988) and Forbes(April 1990) lauded her artistry and the ability of these stones to fool jewelers.
