Read the condition section below the description where I point out any defects with every item I list. Im human, so I may miss something. This is why photos are a part of the description. The construction is consistent with antique authentic period pieces from the early 1900s to 1920. The details are finely wrought. In some ways this reminds me of the Haida Indian Moon symbol; a guide, a protector, a guardian spirit, a timekeeper, and associated with transformation. This beautiful hand wrought ring is a size 5.25 on my mandrel and is approximately 3/4 across the moon face. It weighs 8 grams and is hallmarked for metal purity, although no makers mark present. Condition: Excellent antique previously owned/worn ring that is 80 to 100 years of age. Surface scratches, pitting, tarnish and appropriate patina. The band is in good round. Ready to wear and enjoy! What condition are these pieces in: These items are all vintage, antique (older than 50 years), or from a secondary contemporary marketplace. As such, there will be scuffs, scratches on stones and metal, visible use, sometimes slightly bent ring bands or clasps or rings that need attention. I will do my best to photograph these or point out any issues. I leave the patina on pieces, especially with oxidation. If you would prefer something to be shinier and polished before it is mailed, please contact me and I will use an industry recommended product to hand polish, although it may leave a slight odor that can easily be removed by you with rinsing in water with gentle detergents. I will provide a free jewelry pouch for most items unless the item is too large to fit. Allergy alert: This is a smoke-free household but we do have cats, so if a stray hair makes its way into your package, I cannot take responsibility for your allergic reaction. But I promise, the cats are not allowed to wear the jewelry when they party at night. Not marked but tested to be 9k/10k gold. Ring size approx 5.75. Weight approx 2 grams. Extremely rare and very collectible. May benefit from a polishing due to light patina. This is a dainty ring. Welcome to the Yankee Pickers shop. We are please to offer this lovely antique Victorian 12 kt. Gold moonstone ” Man in the Moon ” and Rubies ring. The ring is hallmark 12K and has been tested. The ring is in very fine condition. The moonstone is rather large, 14.3 mm or approximately 4.50 carats. I just love how the Lions are holding the moonstone. The Rubies measure approximately 3.4 mm each. The ring is a size 8 1/2 and the weight is approximately 11 grams. The baby face is carved from gem grade moonstone. It has a wonderful luminous glow and it has been carved with such fine detail…. I love the wisps of hair on the forehead. The tiny face is framed by 2 old cut diamonds. The shank and mount has been created by my meticulous jeweler 10kt Yellow and White gold as marked…..
