For your consideration is a pre-owned vintage mens stainless steel Rolex Oyster “Elegante” Ref. No box or papers. This dial is 100% original and very unusual with raised gold Roman numeral hour markers, black chapter ring with Arabic numeral 5 minute markers and original gold hands and beautiful original blue steel second hand. This style of dial is seen on the extremely rare first Rolex Air-King watch, Ref. 4925 made for only 1 year in 1945. This Rolex Oyster Elegante watch dates to 1946 and share the exact same style dial as the first Rolex Air-King as my last picture shows. The Air-King is part of my collection and not for sale but shown to see how closely these watches were related! The case 100% original in polished and brushed stainless steel with smooth steel bezel, original steel Oyster crown and flat steel screw down case back. The case measures 33mm in diameter and 19mm lug width. The movement is a high grade Rolex manual wind movement. Telling good time when checked but no service history is known.
