It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, and is very clean. It is straight, not bent, with no major issues at all. It is a very simple, plain exterior designed ring with the 14th Degree motto in Latin, VIRTUS JUNXIT MORS NON SEPARABIT (Whom Virtue Unites, Death Shall Not Separate), stamped on the inside. It is recess hallmarked on the inside 14K in what looks like a loaf of bread shape, hallmark for historic and listed USA fine jewelry maker, J. We did perform a stone & acid test and it confirms 14K gold and measured it with a professional ring mandrel at a US size 8.25 or 8-1/4.
