Rare 14k Gold Art Nouveau JR Wood Nude Women Figural Mens Signet Ring 9.7g Sz 12. Offered today is an antique solid 14k yellow gold men’s signet ring by well-known vintage jewelry company JR Wood. This is Art Nouveau at its best, with the figural nude women on the shoulders. Each woman has flowing hair, and appears to be smelling the bouquet of flowers in her hand. It is never easy to decipher the scripted letters on a signet ring, but at first glance, at least to me, this looks like a “LR” in script. It may look like something else to you. But the ring is really a collector’s item, whether the initials fit you or not–you could wear it as a conversation piece. The face measures a tad under 3/4 north to south. It is hallmarked 14k with the JR Wood hallmark. The ring weighs 9.7 grams and is a size 12. It can be sized by any competent jeweler. It’s in excellent vintage condition! Vintage Antique Men’s Stanhope Risque Full Body Nude Lady Picture Ring 1910s

This is an interesting novelty item. This is a ring with a picture viewer and an image of an attractive unclad lady. The lady is shown recling on a chaise. I was not able to get a great picture through the tiny viewer, but the image is crisp and clear when viewed in person. I thinks this may be French in origin and judging by the hair style, this possibly dates to the 1910s. The metal is light and may be aluminum. Ring size is about US 10 1/4.
