The band is lightly out of round, and it does show harder scratches on the band back due to wear and previous gold testing. Otherwise, it shows overall typical light wear from use and storage over the years, such as marks and scratches. Very bright shine to it as it is, with no chips or cracks to the polished black onyx stone surface. It is not hallmarked by a maker or artist, but it is hallmarked on the inside 585, the purity for 14K gold. We did perform a stone and acid test to confirm 14K. We measured this ring with a professional ring mandrel and it comes out to be a US size 8. It is important to make note the size of this ring if you plan to wear it, as it is a more medium sized ring and would be perfect for those with a smaller body frame.
