The construction is consistent with antique authentic period pieces from the early 1900s to 1920. The details are finely wrought. In some ways this reminds me of the Haida Indian Moon symbol; a guide, a protector, a guardian spirit, a timekeeper, and associated with transformation. This beautiful hand wrought ring is a size 5.25 on my mandrel and is approximately 3/4 across the moon face. It weighs 8 grams and is hallmarked for metal purity, although no makers mark present. As such, there will be scuffs, scratches on stones and metal, visible use, sometimes slightly bent ring bands or clasps or rings that need attention. I will do my best to photograph these or point out any issues. I leave the patina on pieces, especially with oxidation. If you would prefer something to be shinier and polished before it is mailed, please contact me and I will use an industry recommended product to hand polish, although it may leave a slight odor that can easily be removed by you with rinsing in water with gentle detergents.
